Verwendet

Diisopropylmalonat ist ein Desinfektionsnebenprodukt von Isoprothiolan (I874300), einem Dithiolan-Pestizid, das in der Landwirtschaft häufig als Fungizid zur Bekämpfung von Zikaden und Reisbrand bei Reispflanzen eingesetzt wird.
